Dave built a new brand platform that grounded Blaze Pizza in the human emotion of freedom, designed to guide an identity and experience overhaul ahead of nationwide expansion.
The Blaze Pizza brand had always been youthful, fun, and a little bit rebellious — however these values were never clearly defined, and resulted in inconsistent experiences and unsophisticated design and messaging. Looking towads growth and nationwide expansion, Blaze needed a brand platform that both consumers and employees could rally behind, and would help them “grow up” without losing their sense of personality. With Brand Bureau, Dave helped the brand shift focus from their rational selling-point of choice to the emotional output of freedom, with unique digital and in-person experiences that reinforced this ethos.
